Restless. Here on the edge of the wilderness where the trees and thickets have no trails, he stands hungering for the quest of what is beyond.  Here, where the soul searches for freedom, for a opening of clear sky, clear water, and the song of rippling streams.  Crowded is the space at his back, the coming of civil thoughts and social respite discomforts.  He must be ever yearning.  The yearning surges in the blood and draws him forward.  Sensing this freedom, others follow and he moves on again through the thickets toward the open spaces drawing a nation with him as he goes.
